1963 Glide Path

C. O. Wilson Junior High School Yearbook

The Students of C. 0. Wilson Junior High School in Nederland, Texas presents the Glide Path Volume IV yearbook for the school year 1962-1963.

The members of the annual staff are pleased to present the 1963 Glide Path. We hope that through the years this annual will bring you happy memories of the school, friends and teachers. This year has brought C. O. Wilson many new students, teachers, honors and happy experiences. We hope it has endowed each student with a lasting impression.

A yearbook is like a rare painting, the older it becomes, the more value it has, until it is cherished beyond monetary valuation. With this in mind, we hope that the 1963 Glide Path becomes, for each of you, an imperishable record of one complete school year at C. O. Wilson Junior High School.

During this time, we hope that each of you has learned to be alert to deceptive creeds, to be discriminative socially, economically, academically and morally, to be committed to basic rather than temporary or superficial human needs, and to be aware of the fact that which is worthwhile can and will come only if all capable members of our society equip themselves to live lives of careful, thoughtful, diligent, persistent service.

We have enjoyed the year with you, and we trust that your own years which lie ahead will prove this to have been one of growth, of understanding and appreciation of nature, rights, needs, and obligations of yourself and your fellow man.
