Probing in Orange County

Orange, Texas, Jan. 24--M. L. Lockwood of Pennsylvania has been in this county for several days and effected a lease on several thousand acres of land. He has had large experience in the business and hopes to develop the possibilities, if any, for oil in this county. He has all machinery necessary and will know within the coming six months whether surface signs are worth anything or not. (Compiled by W. T. Block)
